Worked as described! I called the company to verify that it was safe to use on new concrete; the reps there couldn't have been more honest or confident in their product. No waiting for salt or other deicers to work or worry about what that concrete will look like in the spring, put it down and walk on it immediately.

Used it on the driveway and stairs to the front door after an ice storm and it performed great. Instant traction. Be aware of tracking it in the house. It wasn't an issue for me, but if you aren't aware it could definitely get tracked in the house. Although that could be an issue for some, it wouldn't keep me from buying more because it worked that great!

Spooky magic! We get a lot of ice buildup and tried TM: around the cars and to the mailbox especially.
So we tried this, just spreading the material directly on top of the ice .. not particularly evenly or professional .. just spread it out of cup.
I couldn't believe it! I gingerly stepped on it, holding onto the car for support, and twisted my foot. Wouldn't budge! Started walking on it and was quite secure.
Ordered a second on right away just to make sure we have enough for the next big snow.

I purchased this last year after our final snow/ice event in NC, well since we are having one today, I got it out and gave it a try. It seems to work exactly like everyone describes. I have arthritis and falling would be a bad thing for me, however I have an elderly, small dog with back issues and have to carry her down 5 outside brick stairs to let her get out to relieve herself.
I sprinkled this out and it seems to have made the icy/sleety/snow a non issue, which is very welcomed! I will definitely be buying another bucket! I can't speak to the clean up until the sun shines and I can see the results but sweeping my stairs is a small price to pay for the confidence and safety to climb the stairs without fear.

Unfortunately I had to use this product yesterday from a snow issue in Indiana. It then went to the Arctic air they call it. I have to say this is unbelievable. I put it down last night . Still great traction today.
Whoever invented this is wonderful. I feel much more confident walking on my cement walk. I even took the little shaker full of it to work today so I was assured I wouldn't fall.
Wonderful product. Will definitely buy again.
